At the Glenisla Hotel we offer full english breakfast everyday and dinners six nights a week.
Dinner is available from Tuesday to Sunday nights. It is an A La Carte menu consisting of a number of starters, main courses (as well as a vegetarian options) and deserts. Our dinners can be considered to be modern/traditional in style and home cooked. An example of our menu is given below.

Starters

  • Homemade soup served with homemade bread (V)
  • Deep fried crumbed brie set upon selected salad leaves
  • Deep fried crumbed mushrooms with tartare sauce
  • Large prawns on salad leaves with garlic butter sauce
  • Tower of haggis, neeps and tatties with a whiskey sauce

Main Courses

  • Aberdeen Angus Steaks, rib eye 8oz, sirloin 8oz and 12oz.
  • Deep fried cod and haddock with chips
  • Oven baked Sea bass with baby potatoes
  • Lasagne and chips
  • Oven baked vegetables smothered in a white sauce
  • Rack of Lamb atop garlic mash and homemade gravy
  • Chicken supreme stuffed  with haggis and wrapped in parma ham served with our home made gravy
  • Asparagus topped with mushrooms, parmesan cheese and capers baked in oven
  • Pork fillet stuffed with parmesan and apple sauce with cream pan sauce.
  • HUGE HOMEMADE PIES, extraordinary and delicious, lamb and mint, beef and guinness, venison, chicken parmesan and cream.
  • Vegtable korma with rice.
  • Bobotie (the best in the UK) - South African speciality.
